Crop to an exact rectangle, in pixels

This image cropper cuts an image down to a rectangle you define numerically: the left and top position where the crop starts, and the width and height of the area to keep. Enter the values, run the crop, and download the trimmed image. Numeric cropping suits jobs where the position matters as much as the size. Repeated crops can reuse exactly the same values.

When entering numbers beats dragging

Precise crops come up in production work: extracting the same region from a series of screenshots, trimming a scan to a known area, or cutting assets to an exact slot in a layout. Typing the coordinates gives the identical crop every time, which a dragged selection cannot guarantee, and the values can be noted down and reused on the next image.

Good to know

Crop values are clamped to the image edges, so a rectangle that runs past the border is trimmed to fit rather than causing an error. Everything outside the rectangle is discarded in the output, so keep your original if you might need the full frame again later.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know which numbers to enter?

Left and top measure in pixels from the image's top-left corner to the crop's start; width and height size the area to keep. For a known slot, use its dimensions and adjust the start to frame the subject.

What if my crop area goes past the edge?

The tool clamps the rectangle to the image, giving the largest valid crop inside the picture instead of an error or blank space. The result may then be smaller than the dimensions you typed.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Files are processed in your browser and never sent to the site's server. The crop is cut on your device and downloads from your browser, leaving the original untouched.
