Are my files uploaded to the server?
No. File and image tools process your files in your browser. Your files are not sent to this website’s server.
Why does a tool show a limitation note?
Every tool has edges: a format it cannot read, a browser feature it needs, or an estimate it makes. The note on each tool page states that edge plainly so you are not surprised.
